The lab refused to convert the KPL file to JPEE from 31-30-2015. What should I do?

R
Answer by Robert Polubinski

You need to contact them. Typically, they shouldn't refuse the files you send them, but if those files don't follow their rules and guidelines, then your files might be refused. Get in touch with support and explain the situation. They will provide additional details for further operations.

Contact: [email protected]

Additionally, check your files and recreate the content then visit them again. There isn't much to do besides the mentioned procedures.

Help me convert my project to JPEG without going to lab. It is not available anywhere. How can I do it myself? Which software is used?

Answer by Sean Hill

You can't convert the projects from the Kodak Digi Album Pro using another application. You will have to open this application and then use the Save as or Export/Publish option if you've created a slideshow or something with many photos. These applications use proprietary file formats to store project names. You can only convert the projects using the built-in features.

I have Windows 7 as operating system and I'm unable to crop in Photoshop. Can you help?

P
Answer by Pete Clapp

First, you need to make sure that you're using Adobe Photoshop CS3, CS4, CS5, or CS6 because the versions prior to these ones are not compatible with your operating system. After that, launch the program, select any tool from the Toolbox, right-click its icon from the Options Bar and select Reset All Tools. If it still doesn't work, select the rectangular marquee tool (the second one from the Toolbox), surround the area you want to be the cropped and then click Crop Image from the Image menu. If you still have issues, reinstall the program.

No, it's not possible to export the project to one JPEG file because there are numerous elements that need to be saved in the proprietary file the application is using. You can export your content to other formats but JPEG format is not allowed or supported.

I want to get the new version of wedding collection & calendar background of 2011.

Answer by Alex Urbach

Unfortunately, there is no way to download the updates for the application because the application has been discontinued. The official website (www.kodakindia.com) doesn't exist anymore. This means you might need to use another application for this process and the database of Software Informer might be good to use in this case. If you want just the free versions of the products, simply tick Free only option next to the Search field.
